While Pamplona itself is only served by a couple of airlines, there are several airports within a two hour drive - many of which are served by low cost carriers like RyanAir and EasyJet. 

Since most of our clients are traveling in a group, we have arranged for private airport transfers from all of the regional airports.  See the airport list to the right to find your arrival airport or e-mail us if you would like to ask about other locations.

We offer private transfer by sedan, van or minibusses which can accommodate up to 30 passengers.

We offer an English-speaking driver, guaranteed door-to-door service, and we’ll wait for you if your flight is delayed. Please consider those differences when comparing your options.

Transfers are also available for your departures, please provide departure flight information as well, if you would like this service.  I will reply with availability and confirm the pricing and deposit process.

If you have infants or small children, you must alert us now, otherwise we cannot carry children without the proper car seat. 

We require a 50% deposit to hold the transfer reservation.  The remaining amount is to be paid by June 15, 2007.  Deposits are refundable according to our cancellation schedule.

Getting to Pamplona:

Pamplona is the capital of Navarra and is one of the most prosperous cities in Spain.  Unfortunately, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is easy to get to.  None of the European low-fare airlines fly into Pamplona, and even full-fare flights are limited.  The good news is, that Pamplona is blessed with multiple regional airports which are served by RyanAir, EasyJet, AirBerlin, and many other carriers.  Once you’ve gotten within a few hours of Pamplona, though you have to sort out how to make that last 100 or 200 kilometers.

There are many busses to Pamplona which run on a regular schedule.  The bus companies in Northern Spain and Navarra are efficient and relatively inexpensive.  If you want to catch a bus to Pamplona, be sure you know where to catch the bus and where the bus will drop you off in Pamplona.  You will have an added expense of taxis or shuttles from regional airports to the Zaragoza, Vitoria, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Biarritz or Pau bus station.  Once you’re on the bus to Pamplona, everything will go smoothly.  When your bus pulls into Pamplona, you’ll then need to find your way to your hotel or apartment in Pamplona.  A local taxi will work, but they can also be scarce and expensive during the San Fermín Festival.

I met a former race car driver who now works for a Pamplona transport company who has agreed to help me sort out transportation option for getting to Pamplona from regional airports.  Essentially, he will help me arrange for airport transfer service from Bilbao, Biarritz, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Zaragoza or Pau directly to your hotel in Pamplona or apartment in Pamplona.

If you want to find a train to Pamplona, you can look on the RENFE web site.  Unfortunately, many routes require that you change trains in order to get to Pamplona or even spend the night in Madrid.  If you are within 500 km of Pamplona, I would highly recommend taking a bus to Pamplona, our our airport transfer service.  If you are farther than 500 km, then I would suggest a flight to Pamplona.  I recently priced a one-way ticket from Barcelona to Pamplona for a client, and it came to USD 186.  Not bad, considering how busy Pamplona is during the running of the bulls.

If you’re coming to run with the bulls, then you definitely don’t want to be delayed by transportation hassles.  The San Fermín Festival is an experience you will never forget, especially if you run with the bulls.  I hope your transportation to Pamplona goes smoothly and arrives on time!
